So you are probably wondering what I’ve been up to in these past 2 months, well I’ll tell you.  I have been working on a project for The National Capital Lyme & Tick-Borne Disease Association and they need all the support you can give them.  Here’s what it’s all about. They are doing a Lyme Briefing for Congress on September 24th 2008.  Here’s an exerp from the site:

What we are doing

We have an historic opportunity to brief Congress on Lyme disease. With the help of Senators Dodd and Lieberman, we have a luncheon briefing scheduled in the Senate Russell Office Building on September 24. All members of Congress are invited. Speakers will feature Andy Wilson, director of Under Our Skin, and Pamela Weintraub, author of Cure Unknown:Inside the Lyme Epidemic. Clips from Under Our Skin will be shown.

I’ve been living with Lyme Disease since July 19th 2003.  I did not know anything about it until I got a really bad flu that did not want to go away.  It has been an up hill battle and I must say it has changed my life.  I will dedicate a section of my site to Lyme Disease and the effects it has on so many people who are getting this incurable disease.

I am finally getting around to updating my website.  I upgrade the site to  use Zikula CMS v1.0, formerly known as PostNuke.  I have been using PostNuke for a little over 4 years and love the flexability of the CMS.  I also am adding a new Forum to the site to discuss different topics.  I have activated the Ratings and Comments section.   I plan to start offerings free themes for the Zikula CMS and other themes as I get into them.  That’s it for now.
